I really appreciate the videos and manuals to refer back to. This was a high-value class for me, and I’m eager to put what I’ve learned to use in our environment. What makes the “C#” course so good is how much it gets us into Epicor with hands-on, real-world exercises. I would say any C# language skills I picked up were probably by rote or osmosis, but the incentive is there to become more proficient after seeing what can be done within the environment. The content was just right to allow a novice coder like myself to put enough pieces together to know how to get more out of our Epicor investment – and to know when to call CodaBears for help.

I do want to say – I absolutely loved the user group meeting last week. It was soooo different from the ones I remember around here which always seemed so focused on the IT people and the big Epicor user companies in this area. I am just sorry it took me so long to find you guys! But the setup of the meeting, the organization of it, everything was great! I am also glad I got to put faces to names, I totally remember seeing Calvin and Fred around Insights the years I attended, but seeing them in action definitely explains why they were voted top partner.

Classes were informative and kept a good pace. Fred did a great job of answering questions and keeping the class on the same page. My only critique is that it would have been nice to see C# applied to BPMs, not just customization code.

I felt that Fred did a great job of teaching us how C# is used within Epicor. From the beginning course, through the Advanced course, Fred gave many examples of how to use C# to customize Epicor to fit your needs. I thought that Fred’s training manuals were well laid out, and fairly easy to follow along, and understand.

I thought the classes were great. I really enjoyed the syllabus that was provided and how well it was followed throughout the course. If at any point I fell behind I was confident if I followed the pamphlet, I would easily be able to catch up. Questions were encouraged and answered in full. I know that the classes were aimed towards beginners, but I also really appreciate that often times the concepts were elaborated on to explain the uses for more complex cases. The resources were great and one small detail that made a nice difference were the snippets of code pre-saved for us to copy and paste in order to keep things running smoothly, small quality of life details like that are amazing. Overall the information was helpful, and the classes were run very well.

Priyanka recently did some work for our company to convert dashboards from the Classic/Modern state to the Kinetic state. I particularly enjoyed the fact that we had status updates as she progressed on the project. Too many times we all have a user ask for something, only to find out that they wanted something else. Time was well spent on development discussions ahead of time and then progress updates to make sure the dashboards were shaping into what we wanted. She was pleasant and patient with us which is sometimes a hard combination to have in a person. We will definitely call upon her again in the future when we need Kinetic help.

Thank you for all of your training. I learned MUCH MORE in our 4 sessions from you than I did in over a year of trying to get Epicor to show me how to use Bartender. I couldn’t even get a 2nd training session scheduled with them, so I went over the head of the guy in charge of the migration project and went to my boss and said “I’m getting CodaBears to do my training, I am not waiting anymore!”
